Covid Update – Mask Update – In accordance with CDC recommendations, masks are now optional or individuals who are fully vaccinated (15 days after their final shot.)
As you have done throughout this pandemic, we ask that you continue to show love and care or your neighbors around you. Respect the boundaries of those who are not yet able or comfortable with removing masks and ask before sitting next to or standing close by. Thank you for your cooperation!
At the Church Council meeting on May 20th, the council has decided to have the Safety Committee decide exactly how and when to relax the rules in the sanctuary and at church functions. Church Council has decided to allow singing at our church service as long as covid infections remain low in Marion County. You can attend via Zoom too! The Church Service starts at 10:00 AM. Adult Sunday School will start at 9:00 AM in the sanctuary. After every Service, a recording of the service is uploaded to Facebook. You can watch the service on St. Paul’s Facebook page.
Communion Update: We have changed our communion practices due to Covid. We are not pouring the wine and distributing the bread as we have in the past. Instead we provide a self-contained package of either wine and communion wafer or grape juice and communion wafer. As you enter the rear of the sanctuary pick up your serving for use later in the service.
If you would like to provide special music at our worship service please sign the sheet on the Family Board. In the past, Linda and Gary Lovell sang a duet and Kevin Emigh has sung a lovely solo.
The Neighborhood Supper will be held Tuesday, June 22nd from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. See Penny Ward for information and to sign up to help. We need volunteers to donate cake and to help out. We provide free warm meals in styrofoam boxes to take home. Once the Covid virus crisis is over, we will be able to eat together at the church. We have a list of dates for the year.
The Fresh Produce Distribution will next take place on July 2, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The distribution will take place at All Occasions, 6989 Waldo Delaware Rd. Waldo, Ohio. About 10,000 pounds of food are generally distributed.

Philippians 4:6 “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
We pray that everyone comes through the present crisis unscathed. Please say some extra prayers and lend a (virtual) helping hand to those around you. While life has been turned upside down, each of us has faced far worse in our personal lives. The only difference now is that we all are facing the same crisis together at the same time. Take this time to study your Bible. Pray! Steady those who are unsteady. Reassure those who are scared. At some point this crisis will be over. God is with us! May God smile on you this and every day! He is holding you in His Hand. The day is getting closer when we will meet together again as we have done in the past and rejoice!
You can get up-to-date information on our congregation from our Facebook page too.
