The Fresh Food Distribution  will be held next on Friday, April 5, 2024 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

The Fresh Food Distribution is a cooperative effort between St. Paul’s; Emanuel Lutheran Church, Marion, Ohio; Peace Community United Church of Christ, Waldo, Ohio; Trinity Lutheran, Marion, Ohio; St. Paul’s Lutheran in Marion, and a number of other local churches and Lutheran Social Services and Mid-Ohio Food Bank.  About 10,000 pounds of produce along with other donated items are available.  Items  depend on the season and what is available.  The Fresh Food Distribution occurs on the first Friday of every month.

 Food Distribution Schedule: 

  • April 5, 2024, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • May 3, 2024, 9:00 AM – 1100 AM

The Fresh Produce Distribution will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at All Occasions, 6989 Waldo Delaware Road, Waldo, Ohio, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.   When you arrive you will need to register at the front of the All Occasions building. Stay in your car for for the quick registration process.  After registration you will proceed to the barn in back of All Occasions. The food will be prepackaged and placed into each person’s car trunk so as to minimize contact.  Again, stay in your car.

All Occasions is located .7 mile south of the center of Waldo,  just past Route 47 on the right.

Food volunteers
Volunteers from St. Paul’s; Emanuel Lutheran Church, Marion, Ohio; Trinity Lutheran, Marion, Ohio; St. Paul’s Lutheran in Marion, and a number of other local churches.

Any Family currently living at 200% or less of the federal poverty level is eligible to receive food.  Proof of income is NOT required.

Each family will receive a box of  food from 10,000 pounds delivered by the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

The produce that is distributed depends on what is available from the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. The type of food varies from month to month.
 
 
 
There are several ways you can help:
 
 
  • Donate cookies or brownies to be served at the Fresh Food Distribution.
  • Volunteer – There is a sign-up sheet on the Family Board.
  • Spread the word!  Copies of the flier are located in the narthex.
  • Donate toilet paper, cleaning products, first aid, and personal care items.
