Pastor Robert Ohrstedt

At the June, 2020 Church Council meeting Pastor Robert “Bob” Ohrstedt (pronounced Or-stead) was hired to be our interim pastor through the end of the year. Pastor Bob is from the Southern Ohio Synod and will be commuting from Columbus. He will be in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. He is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays by appointment and off on Fridays. Chris Seiter at the church office has his phone and email address available.

Reverend Robert “Bob” Ohrstedt has been hired as our Interim Pastor

Pastor Robert Ohrstedt is a native of Columbus, Ohio, where he developed a love of photography and a passion to serve the church and its outreach. He graduated from Capital University with a bachelor degree in History and Philosophy, attended Trinity Lutheran Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology and was ordained in 1980. He has served congregations in Alaska, Southwestern Washington, Northwest Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio.

On Tuesday’s of each week Pastor Bob will continue a Prayer and Study session called Sunday Preview on Facebook Live. It will will be held from 7:00 to 7:30 PM and will be a time to reflect on the past week’s sermon and pastor’s first thoughts on the lessons for the following Sunday. The time together will close with a time for prayer.

Pastor Bob will conduct a midweek Bible study on the Books of Acts. Meeting will be held via Zoom from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and Thursday mornings from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM via Zoom. Beginning on Wednesday, September 9, the meetings will be held at the church.
