Sisters & Brothers in Christ,
As you know, the health alert level in Marion and Delaware counties has returned to level 3, and Ohio continues to see the number of cases and hospitalizations rise. Also this week we received word that one of our congregation members has contracted Covid19.
The council president and the safety committee feel that in light of these continuing health concerns we must suspend indoor, in person worship for this week, and possibly for the foreseeable future. We will still celebrate the Lord’s Supper on Sunday at our normal time, and the service will be broadcast to the parking lot and on Facebook on the internet.
So that we may do this, we ask those participating in worship leadership to still come and to worship with more distance between us, using masks and hand sanitizer to maintain our health.
This was not an easy decision, and we ask that everyone continue to pray live in the faith we share.
